Refund Policy

Refund Policy for Karmer:

At Karmer, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase.  This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which you may return products purchased through our website www.karmer.co.uk and request a refund.  This policy complies with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and other applicable laws.

1.  Consumer Rights for Online Purchases (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your goods (for physical products) or from the day the contract is entered into (for services or digital content).

​How to Cancel:

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement (e.g., via email to nicky@nickyalan.co.uk).  You can use the model cancellation form provided in the Consumer Contracts Regulations, but it is not mandatory.

 

Return of Goods:

For physical products you must return the items to us within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.  The goods must be in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging.  You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product is faulty or not as described.

Refund Process:

We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of return (e.g., proof of postage).  Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.  The delivery cost will also be refunded.

Refunds for Physical Products:

The following items are non-returnable unless faulty:

  • Personalised items

  • Personal items for hygiene reasons

 

Faulty or Incorrect Items:

If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us at nicky@nickyalan.co.uk within 7 days of receipt.  We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund, including any shipping costs.

 

Reduced Refunds:

We reserve the right to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

 

Refunds for Digital Products:

Due to the nature of digital products (e.g., eBooks, courses, or downloadable files), refunds are not typically offered unless required by law,  However, we may issue refunds at our discretion under the following conditions.

Cancellation Before Access:

If you cancel within 14 days and have not accessed or downloaded the digital content, you are entitled to a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Faulty Digital Content:

If the digital content is faulty or not as described, please contact us within 7 days or purchase at nicky@nickyalan.co.uk.  We will provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Note:

By accessing or downloading digital content, you may waive your right to the 14-day cooling-off period unless the content is faulty.  We will notify you of this at the time of purchase.

Chargebacks and Disputes:

To avoid chargebacks, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues.  If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us, we reserve the right to provide evidence of our policies and communications to your payment provider.
